We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Truck (FLT) Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklift trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials and goods in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift truck while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks to move goods and materials around the warehouse or production area.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and pallets using forklift equipment.
• Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping/receiving docks.
• Stack materials properly to ensure safe storage and to optimize space within the warehouse.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform inventory checks and update stock levels as required.
• Follow company guidelines for handling hazardous or sensitive materials, if applicable.
• Assist with organizing goods for shipping and picking orders.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to inventory and material handling.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse teams and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role (minimum of 1 year preferred).
• Valid Forklift Operator’s license or certification (required).
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Ability to operate different types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, pallet truck).
